On 19 October, Our group went to a Japanese restaurant Sushi Kinmedai Omakase which is located in Publika Kuala lumpur.
- History of the restaurant
This restaurant is originality from Tokyo Japan, they serve fine authentic sushi and sashimi, sourced from Japan Tsukiji fish market. They guarantee the freshest catches and finest ingredients supply from Japan market that air flown weekly to ensure the quality.
Their signature items are Natural Tuna (maguro), Uni and Tai with compliments finest Sake, Shochu, Japanese wine and Champagnes. Their lunch served premium set lunch, while Omakase course and Ala Carte for dinner. Kinmedai is a name of one of a famous fish in Japan.

When we went to this restaurant, there were many families. Also, almost of them were Japanese. As a reason, this restaurant is belong to a condominium which is a lot of Japanese stay. Therefore, we think target market of this restaurant is family.

They provide many kind of food and beverages. All foods are very fresh and good quality because they use many ingredients which is imported from Japan. Also we can feel exactly Japanese taste since there are some Japanese chefs. In addition, we can enjoy to drink Japanese alcohol such as Sake, Sho-chu and beer. Especially, lunch menu is very reasonable.

They were all friendly and kind for customers. Also there were some Japanese staffs.The stuffs are very friendly and have a good patience for people.
The stuffs can speak Japanese, Chinese and English so most of them can talk and explain with the customer.

>They gave us a 15% discount ticket in front of the restaurant. It could be used in that day.

This is also Japanese traditional local food. This chicken add with sweat sauce which is mixed with sauce and sugar. The taste of this chicken is similar as Teriyaki chicken. It must be popular for foreigner. The taste of this meal remind Japanese missed Japanese local taste.

Natto is a traditional Japanese food made from soybeans fermented. In our opinion, this natto’s taste is strange especially for foreigner. But it be good opportunity to taste Japanese local food.
Kanpyo is sometimes romanized and pronounced kampyō, are dried shavings of calabash, a type of gourd. Kanpyō is an ingredient in traditional Edo style Japanese cuisine, and cooked and flavored kanpyō is commonly used in temaki suhi roll. The taste is little a bit sweat and it can be good taste if you eat with soy sauce.

a Japanese dish of pieces of thinly sliced beef or pork cooked quickly with vegetables in boiling water and then dipped in sauce.in kimedai, there are two kinds of beef meat Japanese and Australian beef. The price is depending on which meat we choose. The meat is soft and juicy.

>The food was not enough for us because amount of per serving is small portion.
Solutions to overcome these disadvantages
>Recommended menu of the day doesn't have picture so people cannot image the menu without Japanese. To overcome this problem, they should provide the menu with pictures which is easy to understand by anyone.
>taking off their shoes is kind of traditional culture in Japan but nowadays it became a old style because it is wasting time and troublesome.
>we understand that the restaurant can not make the price become cheaper but they can increased food portions.

overall
We really enjoyed having dinner in Sushi kinmedai omakase. We could feel traditional Japanese style because of the atmosphere and design of this restaurant. All the foods was delicious and high quality so we were very satisfied for this restaurant. Actually, there were some points that made us to be disappointed but they will be able to easily improve.
Overall, we recommend you to go to this restaurant!!!!!!
